This class is designed for learners in grades K-3, who are new to Mandarin or have had some exposure in the past. For example if the student has taken Mandarin during afterschool in a previous semester. In Singers and Songwriters, students learn the mechanics of writing lyrics and melodies, and will discover how to tell a story through music. As a culminating project this semester, the class will write and record their very own original tune for you to keep forever!
